UXLINK Token Plunges 99.99% After $45M Phishing Attack
UXLINK, a decentralized finance (DeFi) platform specializing in secure multi-chain token management, suffered a catastrophic security breach. Attackers compromised its multi-signature wallet, siphoning off millions in cryptocurrency to both centralized and decentralized exchanges.
The team confirmed the breach 14 hours ago, mobilizing internal and external experts to contain the fallout. Major exchanges froze suspicious deposits, while authorities accelerated legal recovery efforts. UXLINK maintains regular user wallets remain unaffected.
PeckShield has been enlisted to investigate the unauthorized token minting that exacerbated the crisis. Most stolen assets have been frozen, but the platform now faces the dual challenge of restoring trust and compensating victims.
